The role of a single window is to simplify import and export procedures, reduce costs and delays through the physical and/or electronic grouping of all stakeholders.

3- How to obtain the e-FORCE codes for access to the e-GUCE (Single window) platform?

An application for opening an account to carry out transactions on the e-GUCE platform must be sent by mail to GUCE (Single Window for External Trade Transactions). The user is informed by mail of the allocation of an account including the username and password.

Products intended for import or export are subject to customs control and technical controls.

5- Which authority is entitled to issue export declaration in Cameroon ?

The export declaration is obtained from the Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), which receives the export application, at least 72 hours prior to shipment. The SGS is also responsible for forwarding the copies to the exporter's bank and the administrations concerned.

6- What is the point of having an import declaration (ID) or export declaration ?

This declaration is required for the purposes of inspection, control or issuance of certificate of origin statistics, particularly for exports.
